Joe's Nithilam is built for exactly this kind of trip — a farmhouse and working farm in Puthagaram, Wallajabad, Kanchipuram district, about 50 km from Chennai, where every generation in the family finds something to do. Kids can explore the fields and play traditional games, adults can walk the fields, explore the garden, or relax in the garden, and everyone can gather for a bonfire and a meal together in the evening.
The pace here is deliberately unhurried. There's no packed itinerary to rush through — guests can choose from farming activities, nature walks, bird watching, sunset viewing, the pumpset and tank, and stargazing, picking whatever suits the day and the group.
The farmhouse comfortably fits 3–5 guests, which works well for a nuclear family or a small extended-family visit. For larger family gatherings or reunions, contact us in advance to discuss arrangements.
